”CV Deals” and ”CV-Deals” means SaaS Cloud Service developed and operated by the Company.
“Client Company” means a legal entity/company which is in agreement with the Company.
“Client” means a natural or legal person who has authority to sign the order form for the Service and accepted these Terms behalf of the Client Company.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
“User” means a natural person, who is employee, agent, or representative of a Client, who uses the restricted areas of the Service for the purpose of accessing the Service.
”Service” means restricted area, CV Deals, which is accessed by User.
“Client Data“ means Personal Data and other electronic form data that a User of the Service stores within the Service.
”Visitor” means visitor of our Public Website.
”CV Viewer” means Visitor who is accessing Service via link shared by User.
”Public Website” means unrestricted area of the Service, site that is available for all Visitors.
This privacy policy (”Policy”) explains how Company collect Personal and/or Client Data through Public Website and the Service, how Company use and disclose such information, and the steps Company take to protect such information. By visiting Company’s website, purchasing and/or using the Service, you accept the privacy practices described in this Policy.
Company does not collect Personal Data from Visitors, we do not collect information about the Visitors nor use cookies in our Public Website.
We use Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and traffic on the Public Website and create Visitor navigation reports for Company’s employees. Google operates independently from Company and has its own privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you to view. We take measures to protect the technical information collected by our use of Google Analytics. The data collected will only be used on a need to know basis to resolve technical issues, operate the website and identify visitor preferences; but in this case, the data will be in non-identifiable form. We do not use any of this information to identify Visitors.
CV Viewer is considered as Visitor, with some exceptions: When CV Viewer access Service through a link shared by User, Client Data will be accessed and Service automatically records timestamp when link is opened, IP-address and e-mail address (if specifically required by User).
Due to nature of the Service provided by CV Deals, shared link may enable access to Client Data for CV Viewer. For security and statistical purposes User is able to view who (IP-address and optionally e-mail address) has accessed Client Data and when (timestamp when link is accessed). CV Viewer understands that giving e-mail address when accessing shared link, he/she can be identified by User and Client Company may use this information for marketing purposes.
Company collects different types of information from and through the Service. The legal bases for the Service’s processing of Personal Data are primarily that the processing is necessary for providing the Service in accordance with the ">Terms of Service and that the processing is carried out in Company’s legitimate interests, which are further explained in the section “How we use the Information collected” of this Policy.
When a User uses the Service, we may automatically record certain information from the User’s device by using various types of technology, including cookies. This information may include IP address or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the pages or other content the User views or interacts with on the Service, and the dates and times of the visit, access, or use of the Service. This information is collected from all Users.
When you use the Service or our service portal, you may provide, and we may collect Personal Data. Examples of Personal Data include name, email address, mailing address, mobile phone number. If this analysis require Company to process Client Data, then the data will only be used in anonymised and/or aggregated form.

We may use a User’s email address or other information to contact User for necessary administrative purposes such as customer service, to address intellectual property infringement, right of privacy violations or defamation issues related to the Client Data stored in the Service.
We do not use User’s email or other information to send marketing related communication. Client may be contacted for marketing purposes. As a Client, you have the right at any time to stop Company contacting you for marketing purposes, to do so, please contact Company representative.
We do not use CV Viewer's email or other information for any communication, classification or share the information to third parties.
Support portal and the Service may include marketing materials, links to promotions or other information created for marketing purposes. However, we do not use our platforms for ads from third parties.
Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every Visitor, CV Viewer and User is entitled to the following:

You have the right to request copies of your Personal Data. Company may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification
You have the right to request that Company corrects any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Company to complete information you believe is incomplete.

You have the right to request Company to erase your Personal Data, under certain conditions.

Please understand that making a request regarding some of the data protection rights as User may prevent you fully access, browse and/or otherwise use the Service.
Full benefits of using the Service require Personal Data to be stored by the User. Usually this data is full name and work email of the person/User. Also work phone number, location, education, work history, professional courses, certifications, qualifications and reference projects may be necessary to be stored within the Service for full usage. Client is fully responsible for the stored data and is required to make sure person is aware of his/her/its Personal Data stored in the Service. Company can change or erase Client Data from the Service when requested, but the Client has main responsibility on the data maintenance.
Client Data in the Service is stored securely in modern database(s), in server(s) located in Finland. Company and its partners are committed to make the Service as secure as possible. We keep part of the data encrypted (AES) and use primarily SHA3 hashing techniques with at least 128 bits to secure some of the data exchange.
We do not automatically delete Client Data. Service’s log data is deleted and/or archived periodically, but we try to keep at least one calendar month long history available.
All server(s), including database(s), are planned to be back upped at least daily.
Except as described in this Policy, we will not intentionally disclose the Personal or Client Data that we collect or store in the Service to third parties without the consent of the Client.
Company has technology partners as service providers and we use some third party services to be able to provide the Service.
Company's cloud hosting partner delivers virtual server(s) where the Service is running. This means that database(s), web server(s) and other necessary technology solutions are running in server(s) located in Finland, and operated/maintained by Company’s hosting partner.
The Service uses PdfMyUrl service (https://pdfmyurl.com) to create PDF-files from the Client Data (when User decides to use functionality to do so).
PdfMYUrl does not store the detailed converted information, only information stored in this service’s logs is IP address and which documents are converted at which point in time.
In the Service’s case this means ”Raw html data”-headline, IP address and date/time of the PDF-export.

If you prefer not to accept privacy policy of PdfMyUrl, we can disable PDF-export functionality for your Client Company, in this case please contact us.
The Service uses Google Cloud Translation service (https://cloud.google.com/translate/data-usage) and Microsoft Azure Cognitive service (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/legal/cognitive-services-compliance-and-privacy/) to translate some of Client Data.
Text for translation is sent to service as-is and service will respond with translated text. According to Google's and Microsoft's privacy policy, sent Client Data is not stored or otherwise used, links to services' data processing terms are listed above.
The Service also uses Proxycurl service (https://https://nubela.co/proxycurl/) to fetch data from LinkedIn and enriches Client Data.
The Service sends only LinkedIn public profile link entered and Proxycurl does not store the information. The Service and Proxycurl service uses only the publicly available information stored in LinkedIn profile, by the LinkedIn-user.
LinkedIn user decides in LinkedIn privacy settings if the profile can be viewed publicly and if so, what information is publicly available for all internet users.
The Service uses cookies in range of ways to improve user experience, primarily by keeping you signed in. We may use cookies also for understanding how you use the Service and to store your preferences.
Service does not use cookies for any advertising purposes. The Service uses these cookies so that we recognise you on the Service and possibly remember your previously selected preferences. These could include what language you prefer and location you are in, a mix of first-party and third-party cookies may be used.
You can set your browser not to accept cookies, however, the Service will not be usable as a result of this action. As described in this Policy, Company’s Public Website does not use cookies, hence you are free to set your browser not to accept cookies, without impacting the user experience.
Company reserve the right to update this Policy as the Service evolves, particularly if/when collection, disclosure or usage of the Client or Person Data changes. Company keeps its Policy under regular review and places any updates to this web page.
